Mr. Ynon Surkis has a vast experience in the design, analysis, manufacturing and testing of composite structures.

• Delegated L1 stress signatory for composite structure at AIRBUS.

• Leading long term process to develop the composite repairs methods and approaches within the Wing In-Service Repair at AIRBUS.

• Producing the AIRBUS Wing In-Service repair composite design and stress guideline documents.

• Leading the AIRBUS A320 SHARKLET wing tip composite reparability project.

• Leading design and analysis project of composite structures in the military and civil aviation. IAI Heron TP UAV, ELBIT H900 and H90 UAV, BIRD’s AEROSHILED POD and more.

ROM provides on-going support to design projects, involving composite structures. This includes material selection, production process definition, development of material properties database and testing, design guidelines, stress analysis, manufacturer selection and management and supervision of the production process.

ROM provides consultancy services to design organizations, aiming to develop their expertise in composite structure and establish standardization in design and production.

ROM has been nominated by ELBIT Aerospace as Composite Design Consultant.
